Maruti Suzuki announced the launch of its telematics solution "Suzuki Connect" for its NEXA customers. The device offers emergency alerts, Vehicle tracking, live vehicle status and preventive maintenance calls.
Suzuki connect" will be available as an option that can be installed by NEXA customers. Once installed and connected with smartphone through NEXA app, one can experience its progressive features like emergency alerts, vehicle tracking, driving behaviour analysis, car assistance, driving analytics report amongst a host of other features.
Key features of the platform developed by Maruti Suzuki are:
1. Emergency Alerts
The device is designed to detect an emergency situation in case of airbag deployment and automatically sends an emergency alert to user's family/friends along with information like GPS co-ordinates and vehicle details.
2. Preventive Assistance:
In case the system detects a malfunction, Maruti suzuki customer case will proactively contact the customer to offer any assistance needed for the vehicle.
3. Vehicle Tracking:
This makes possible real time vehicle tracking along with advanced features like live location sharing, tow away alert, Geofencing and navigation to parked vehicle.
4. Driving Behaviour Analysis:
Aimed at enhancing driving efficiency by providing an analysis on the user's driving behavior in terms of economy, comfort and safety along with making details of a particular trip/ride available.
5. Live Vehicle Status:
Users can remotely check the status of features like Seat Belt, AC, fuel level and Odometer value on their vehicle.
