Huawei's sub-brand Honor entered into the competitive price segment with the launch of its AI-powered dual camera smartphone i.e Honor 10. To grab the consumers attention, company has included powerful processor, good display, huge RAM and dual cameras.
If you are considering to purchase Honor 10, here are the things that you need to know before purchasing the phone.
When it comes to design, Honor has received appreciation these years. I used Honor 4X for a year and I like the sony sensors used in it and the design of the phone. However when it comes to design of Honor 10, the rear panel is very shiny which results in reflection in the sunlight. The fingerprint is located on the display and the back panel is home to dual rear camera setup placed horizontally with a single tone LED flash. The camera comes with branding ‘AI camera’ written next to it.
Honor 10 comes with a 5.84" full HD+ display with 1080x2280 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio and has the looks of iPhone X. They say that the company has incorporated a vivid mode in the smartphone which claims to offer extra visual punch to the display.
Like all the other Honor smartphones, Honor 10 is also powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor. The company has used the same processor used in the Huawei P20 series of smartphones. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded. The Honor 10 is backed by a 3400 mAh battery which easily lasts up to a day on single charge. The smartphone comes with two power saving modes and also offers fast charging capability. Phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo topped with company’s own EMIUI 8.1 UI layer.
The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup i.e with 16MP sensor with f/1.8 RGB lens and a 24MP monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Coming to the front camera, the Honor 10 sports a 24MP selfie camera.
The smartphone offers all the high-end specifications and also packs a powerful processor. However when it comes to looks, it is not that great.
Pros:
Honor 10 is quite sleek and looks premium
AI powered by Independent NPU
Honor super Charger
