Xiaomi's India head Manu Kumar Jain officially announced that Redmi Y2 will be the new phone in the company's portfolio with a 16-megapixel AI camera. Here is the information about the phone.
The Redmi Y2 has a 5.99" display and comes in 3 colours i.e Gold, Dark Grey, and Rose Gold. Sensor has aperture of f/2.0 and comes with AI integration. There is also Auto HDR, AI portrait selfie and a Beautify mode that works on 10 aspects while editing the photos.
Phone is based on Android Oreo and comes with Metallic display, 16MP High resolution camera. Rear camera setup consists of the primary 12PM sensor and secondary 5MP sensor. When it comes to unlocking the phone, it has got AI-based Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor. Running the phone is a Snapdragon 625 processor.
Xiaomi has also introduced MIUI 10 with Redmi Y2 smartphone. Software focuses on speed, design, gestures and sound. Phone comes with web Apps preloaded and when it comes to sound, Xiaomi if offering natural sounds(tones/SMS).
