Huawei launched "Honor Play" in mid range segment. The smartphone is an Amazon Exclusive and will go on sale from today. Features of the phone include 19:5:9 display and a dual rear camera setup, another highlight is GPU Turbo technology which is said to increase performance by upto 60% while reducing battery consumption by upto 30%.

The dual SIM smartphone runs EMUI 8.2 on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Camera:
The Honor Play bears a dual rear camera setup, with the primary 16-megapixel sensor sporting an f/2.2 aperture, and the secondary 2-megapixel sensor sporting an f/2.4 aperture, complete with support for phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and accompanied by a single-LED flash. On the front, the Honor Play features a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
It is powered by the top-end Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC (four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz), that's coupled either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the variant purchased.
Display:
The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a display notch.
