Suzuki Connect will be available as an accessory that customers can choose to get installed in their cars across the NEXA network in the country. Once you install and connect it with your smartphone through the NEXA App, you can experience its progressive features. Suzuki Connect not only provides a connected ownership experience but also offers proactive warnings to car user on vehicle health to ensure a seamless experience.
Telematics Control Unit: Suzuki Connect uses Telematics Control Unit through which it exchanges information through the cellular network with a centralized server connected to NEXA customer care.
Price: Suzuki Connect is priced at Rs. 9,999/- (inclusive of taxes) for a three-year subscription.
Key features of the platform developed by Maruti Suzuki are:
1. Emergency Alerts
The device is designed to detect an emergency situation in case of airbag deployment and automatically sends an emergency alert to user's family/friends along with information like GPS coordinates and vehicle details.
2. Preventive Assistance:
In case the system detects a malfunction, Maruti suzuki customer case will proactively contact the customer to offer any assistance needed for the vehicle.
3. Vehicle Tracking:
This makes possible real time vehicle tracking along with advanced features like live location sharing, tow away alert, Geofencing and navigation to parked vehicle.
4. Driving Behaviour Analysis:
Aimed at enhancing driving efficiency by providing an analysis on the user's driving behavior in terms of economy, comfort and safety along with making details of a particular trip/ride available.
5. Live Vehicle Status:
Users can remotely check the status of features like Seat Belt, AC, fuel level and Odometer value on their vehicle.
