Jawa Motorcycles unveiled "Jawa" and "Jawa 42" in India. Bikes are priced at Rs. 1.64 L and 1.55 L respectively.
The motorcycle uses a 293cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine that is tuned to produce 27 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. The bike comes with a 6 speed gearbox.

The Jawa's engine is BS VI ready and has a future ready catalytic convertor as well. Bike comes with telescopic forks on front and gas charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. When it comes to brakes 'Jawa 300' gets a 280mm disc brake in the front and a 153 mm drum brake in the rear. They say that the bike weighs 170 kgs. The bike has a wheelbase of 1369 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 14 lts.

Jawa comes in Black, Grey and Maroon
Jawa 42 comes in Halley' Teal, Galactic Green, Starlight Blue Lumos Lime, Nebula Blue and finally Comet Red.
