Samsung and Huawei are in the news from long time to unveil the first foldable smartphone. However "Royole" beat Samsung and Huawei by releasing the world's first foldable smartphone.
California based start up "Royole" unveiled world's first foldable smartphone-tablet "FlexPai" which is similar to what Samsung has been teasing about its model. This smartphone can be used either folded or unfolded.
The smartphone/teblet comes with 7.8" AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1440, Pixel density of 308 PPI. The screen supports split screens and multi tasking.
They say that the screen automatically adjusts the display size to adapt to video or movie. When the phone is folded, both the screens on the front and back can work together or independently, depending on what you do. The side edge displays notifications, manage calls and messages.
FlexPai uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series SoC which brings impressive AI to device. The phone comes with dual camera i.e 20MP telephoto and 16MP wide angle lenses.
