Most search engines collect search data, with Google even linking that data to our account. The recorded data is then used to personalize our search results and show targeted advertising. 

DuckDuckGo does not track you and opts not to personalize search results. 

Why one should give up Google search and use DuckDuckGO?

We all know that Internet has become a web of advertising trackers monitoring us every moment, every interest and also track location. 

Google the pioneer of surveillance effectively monetizing all the possible data it can acquire about us. Google Photos know the faces of our friends and loved ones and knows where to travel. On the other hand, YouTube knows our interests, the products that show interest and music.
