These days it is common to sharpen faces or improve quality of the image using Photoshop and other image editing software or apps. In an effort to find these edited faces Adobe has now created a tool that can tell when a face is Photoshopped.

Adobe researchers Richard Zhang and Oliver Wang, along with UC Berkeley collaborators, Sheng-Yu Wang, Dr. Andrew Owens and Professor Alexei A.Efros developed a method for detecting edits in faces/images. Adobe says that the tool is still in early stages.

This research is part of Adobe’s efforts to better detect image, video, audio and document manipulations.

Tests AI Tool developed by Adobe achieved results as high as 99% in identifying the altered images. The tool also identified areas and methods of facial warping. Another important and exciting thing is that the tool reverted altered images to its calculation of original state.

Bajaj and Uber launched the Qute quadricycle for Uber XS ride category in Bangalore/Bengalugu. As this is a pilot project, ride will be offered only in certain areas of Bengaluru. Uber XS is ride category available in India. It offers personal mobility in Bajaj Qute. Sources says that the Uber XS will be available in Indiranagar, Koramangala, HSR Layout and parts of outer ring road in Bengaluru as this is a pilot project.
