First Chief Minister of India to have 5 deputy CMs – YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

Divided Andhra Pradesh’s 2^nd Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is the first CM in India to have 5 deputy chief ministers. Most importantly these deputy CMs are from SC, ST, BC and Kapu communities. Like we discussed above, this will be the first time for a Cabinet to have five deputy chief ministers in the country. Among these five deputy CMs, one is from Kapu and BC respectively.

The 5 deputy chief ministers are Pamula Pushpa Sreevani, Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose, Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas, L Narayana Swamy and Amzath Basha.
