BlackBerry Evolve X - Launched in India

BlackBerry Evolve X launched mid-range smartphone in India. They say that the smartphone is made in India and is designed keeping in mind the Indian Customer.



Design:

The device comes with an all-screen design with no QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone is quite sleek and light. The handset comes with a textured back panel with round edges which makes easy to hold. Right side houses the power button and the volume rockers. The audio jack is placed on the placed on the top, while the USB Type C charging port is located at the bottom.


Display:

The phone sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 14460x2560 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.


Hardware:

The Blackberry Evolve X is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The device comes with 64GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 2TB by inserting a microSD card.


Software:

The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and the company has promised that it will offer monthly security updates to the device for one year. 


Camera:

The front of the device houses a 16MP selfie camera with LED flash and the rear is home to the 12MP+13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash with the BlackBerry logo.

Battery:
The handset is backed by a 4000mAh battery with wireless fast charging support.
