India’s well
known Business man or the richest Indian business man Mukesh Ambani enabled
millions of Indians to come online by introducing Jio. 80% of Indians are now
using Jio network and most importantly watching ICC cricket world cup 2019 on
Hotstar via Jio network(for free).
The Jio
group/Mukesh Ambani now has plans to introduce “Digital Udaan”. Jio has
announced a literacy program i.e Digital Udaan for first time Internet users in
India. The company has partnered with Facebook to create the largest digital
literacy program in India. The program offers audio-visual training in almost
10 regional languages.
Sources say that
Jio will hold training sessions to help Internet users learn about Internet
Safety and how to engage with popular and most used services. These training
sessions will be held on Saturday. Jio also provides training videos and
information brochures to Digital Udaan participants.
Reports says that
Facebook helped Jio to build modules relevant for people in different cities in
India. Training sessions will be conducted by Jio in almost 200 locations
across 13 states in first phase and then the training will be expanded to more
locations. With this millions of JioPhone users and first time Internet users
will learn about Internet Safety and how to engage with popular and most used
